De'lo Records announce their debut release of a Contemporary Gospel project that will surely satisfy your thirst for real gospel music. We're not just talking about a watered down repetitive message set to a driving beat. We're talkin sho-nough Power of God/Gospel laced/Scripturally sound music full of the anointing and purpose. Maximum Glory, ( Charron Oliver, Pastor Dwain K. White and Charnette Freeman) a name that is so apropos for this group has certainly come out strong with this their first project. All of the songs with the exception of the hymn (Only what you do for Christ) were written, arranged, produced, and recorded by Pastor White. Pastor also plays keyboards, bass guitar, and performs all of the drum programming on the project. Charron and Charnette not only deliver exquisite lead vocals but also perform all of the backup harmonies. Together the versatility and range of these two women leave you breathless as you hear them execute flawless performances. From the hard, Sunday morning, high praise sound of Running and The Power of God, to the smooth subtle sounds of Lord You Are and John 15:7, these women truly show what giving your all for the Glory of God is really about.
This Project also features some of the best musical talent Baltimore has to offer. The late Skip Scarborough (Grammy award winning producer/songwriter) co-wrote and played keyboards on the song Lord You Are, an absolutely beautiful ballad. On acoustic piano and keyboards you will hear the very jazzy and flavorful talents of Mo Daniels (keyboardist and musical director for the renowned saxophonist NAJEE). Also hot on the organ is Buddy Lakins who has produced and arranged for some of the biggest names in gospel music today. Another heavy hitter on this project on acoustic piano is Darryl Elliott (original keyboardist for the Upper Room Players). Rounding off this forum of extremely talented musicians is Kevin Powe who handles all of the guitar work on the project. With such a power-house of musical talent coupled with the anointing of God it is easy to see and hear why this project is making so many waves.
